ABOUT
After completing law studies in 1989 and a brief career in this profession, Olivier Gabersek left the legal world to devote himself to his passions of travel, photography, video and writing.
From June 1994 to November 2002, he traveled the world extensively as a freelance photographer-reporter , specializing particularly in China, Russia, India, Japan, Mongolia, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Between 1980 and 2020, he also made numerous trips to Europe, Russia, Asia, the United States, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
From his travels he brings back thousands of photos which will be widely published by the Explorer and Gamma agencies.
Rich in his encounters and passionate about the cultural differences of peoples, he has desires for filming that will take him to Russia, Slovenia and Asia.
Since 2007 he has been directing his own documentaries and also organizing shoots as a Fixer for other productions.
When he is not behind his camera or his camera, he devotes himself to writing another of his passions. In 2015, he released his first novel Tatiana , a historical fiction set against the backdrop of the Indochina war. Prolix in writing, it has many script projects and books in its drawers that are just waiting for the right moment to come out in order to give rise to new human adventures!
